And they wanted to be sure an online Crumbs brand experience would still have all the appeal of an inviting neighborhood bakeshop.

We built an exceptional branded website experience that’s almost as much fun as selecting cupcakes right from the bake shop display case, with a unique “drag and drop cupcake six-pack configurator” that’s easy to use and ideal for the company’s preferred shipping model. We built the website on Magento because it had all the functionality we wanted and is the most flexible, customizable platform available today.
Crumbs now has the ability to create segmented lists based on past buying preferences – perfect for driving website and wholesale catering sales at the holidays and special occasions. The targeted email promotions are driven by the integrated Magento sales platform on the back-end.
We developed a custom distribution process that links customer invoices and “pick & pack” lists with the bakery and fulfillment center. Daily inventory reports simplify planning in the bakery and streamline production and delivery schedules.
We built in all the components necessary to accurately estimate the total shipping weight of any particular cupcake order. This helps to minimize shipping overages, which helps to minimize discrepancies between credit card authorizations and actual shipping charges, which helps to minimize financial adjustments and maximize satisfied customers.
