Awareness is a global enterprise software company that has always been ahead of the curve in providing strategic social media tools for global brands. Introduced almost a decade ago, their private branded community platform set the standard for enterprise marketers seeking to build customer loyalty through online media channels. In 2010, Awareness launched the Social Marketing Hub, a game-changing application that allows large companies to publish, manage and measure social media across multiple channels.
Brand + Product Launch
Our mission was to define and design the new product brand, help launch the product and create a new website aimed at generating interest and qualified leads for the new platform. We evaluated the current market environment and determined that as social media gains acceptance it is encouraging a wave of emerging social media solutions that all say they do the same thing and solve the same problems - but none have Awareness' proven track record in meeting the marketing and technological requirements of major corporations. With that knowledge, we crafted a new positioning direction and messaging platform built on the theme of "Get Serious About Social Media", for serious marketers with enterprise-grade challenges and high expectations for social media success.
We designed a new logo for the Social Marketing Hub that echoes the Awareness corporate logo but carries its own unique identity. The product launch took place at the SxSW 2010 technology conference, where we unveiled a microsite, followed short there-after by a total redesign of the Awareness corporate site that features the Hub as the company's major offering.
Viral Marketing Videos
We scripted, designed and produced five separate videos to humanize the Social Media Hub experience through the eyes of "Mark", a typical enterprise marketing manager. Viewed independently or sequentially, they're a great viral element that gives the brand personality while explaining key product benefits.
Our goal on this engagement was to bring Awareness' new vision to the market in an effective, compelling and surprising way that cements its position as the leader in enterprise social media software and transforms it from the "private branded community" company to the "total social media solution for serious marketers" company.
