Day To Day

• Start week of September 13th and continue through the Fall semester. Option to continue in the Spring semester
• Work at least three half days a week (flexible) at our office
• Researching pertinent online avenues to fulfill specific campaign objectives
• Imagining and implementing guerilla tactics to push messaging on online social networks
• Monitoring and participating in conversations across social networks
• Imagining and implementing digital marketing tactics
• Building media lists and monitoring editiorial calendars
• Communicate findings and progress to internal teams
• Supporting marketing team with various additional projects
• Generating and editing pitches for public relations outreach
• Proactively pitching pertinent media outlets

Qualifications

• Are a rising junior or senior majoring in Communications/Marketing/Advertising/Public Relations/Management or related fields
• Have a deep interest in online community management and non-traditional publicity
• Have exceptional oral & written communication skills to connect with media (we will ask to see writing samples)
• Enjoy following social media marketing trends
• Are great at research, following up and engaging people in conversations
